Indoor Localization – First Day

Hi 🙂

So, this is our first day of Rose. We are five in our group, Benjamin, Marc-Olivier, Olivier, Virgile and me Guénolé. In summary, our project involves positioning by detecting magnetic fields. To become better acquainted with the subject we began together our researches on physical phenomena involved, the various technologies available (for instance the Sixence project or Razer Hydra) and other related topics. Moreover, we started to define some technicals specifications.

Once our project is better defined we will give you more information. For the time being, we keep our group’s name secret…

    But they don’t use magnetic field, they use UWB…

    PS: we thought about trying ultrasounds at a point but heard that the noise was quite painful to cleanup, let us know if you investigate it!
