Today we chose most of our components (the only thing missing is the bumpers we’ll use to detect obstacles) so that we’ll be able to start working on our PCB design first thing tomorrow morning! We’ve decided to go with an STM32F407 because the DCMI on it will fit well with the Caspa VL cameras that are available to us. It’s going to be a challenge to design our first PCB but we’re going to learn a lot and that’s always a good thing!
We’ve decided to go with the Pololu base and to use its power supply (4 AAA batteries) to power our PCB. We have to figure out the details but it should work fine.
Until next time!
